Splash Series

Blue Ocean Aquatics hosts 2 fun galas each year, i.e. the Junior Splash Gala in February / March and October. The Junior Splash gala is for children aged up to 12 years old and is an opportunity for unregistered swimmers to swim at a gala.

About the Squad

All 10-year-old and under races are 25m, 11 to 12-year-old races are 50m, and all IM’s over 100m. We offer medals to the top 3 in each event, and age group trophies for the top swimmer of the day in each age group. We regret no 12+ aged swimmers or level 3 and up swimmers are permitted to enter.

Blue Oceans Aquatics Swimming Club would like to invite all interested swimmers, coaches & Learn to Swim instructors to participate in our bi-annual Splash Gala.

The Splash series is open to all swimmers from learn to swim up to and including level 2 between the ages of 6 and 12 years. No level 3 or SANJ swimmers may attend no matter in what event or distance they have qualified in. This is the ideal opportunity for junior & non-competitive swimmers to compete against their own age group in an organized fun event. Lunch and refreshments will be on sale throughout the day.
